The Without Notice Notice



Anyone still stunned by the Bush Administration's answer to the "economic meltdown"; a "Wall Street BAILOUT" that puts the solution in the hands of a single un-subpoenable Unitary Executive CEO, whose personal actions and decisions may not be reviewed by any court of law or administration agency, hasn't gotten a letter like the one above. Yet.

May not be reviewed.

Rachel Maddow has tonight pointed out that "Four strikes and you're OUT!" doesn't even mean anything anymore, but her revelation of the bad joke that has become Bush 43, is drowned out by FOX NEWS proving once and for all that they have no sense of humor, or as Sean Hannity would put it: "so-called" sense of humor.

What Bush wants, Bush gets, Bush hates us all.

Problem-Crisis-Solution has come to my street, as it did with the Gulf of Tonkin incident 48 years ago. I was not old enough to vote when I received my Draft Notice that began with: "YOU WILL REPORT". I found it in the same mailbox that also held the bad news of this July 11th.

My reaction, triggered by both documents, remains the same because the thinking behind both - that the recipient will just blindly follow orders, however subtly concealed, or blatantly dictatorial - is more arrogant than ever. An arrogance however, that now threatens my First-Born, and her new Son.

Four words born at the birth of the country*, and as appropriate in 2008, as they were in 1964: “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION”.

My Name is Michael Sterling, and I'll make it even simpler for the bastards who have Betsy Ross in a headlock, twisting her arm to see just when it will break. Waiting to see how complete our conditioning is, as we tacitly give them permission to torture her further. And all the agony, just so they can get their way, one way or the other. Sooner or later.
